Ida (Life by Ida) and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary a few days ago. It's amazing that we were living in the same town and had all the same interests, but never met until February last year, and know we're best friends. And it was all thanks to our blogs!
Ida, I love you!

As some of you know both Ida and I are dreaming of living together in London while studying fashion at LCF. Well, we really got a sweet taste of how our lives could be when we walked the streets of our favourite city...

I found three gorgeous pieces of clothing while surfing Acne's online shop today. I wasn't really aware of how much my men's fit blazer did mean to me until I lost it some time ago. I've been searching for a replacement ever since and haven't found the right one, but then I spotted this boxy men's fit blazer which would be just perfect! And then there's the brown biker jacket in lamb leather with a detachable fur collar that I fell in love with instantly, although I would wear it with the collar. I've never owned a brown leather jacket, but this made me really crave for one. Sadly, Acne is too expensive for me at the moment, but a girl can dream, right? Though the beautiful one-shoulder dress is not that expensive, I'll try to find a similar, but cheaper one when I'm in London with Ida next week. Can't wait!

It was when I first saw this photo I began looking forward to fall.

I don't know why I keep doing this to myself... And by this I mean window shopping at net-a-porter.com. I can't imagine it being very healthy to look at all the beautiful clothes, bags and shoes I cannot afford. Anyway, I need an off white blazer jacket. Does anyone have any tips?

This is the outfit from when I went to the movies with my mum after work this weekend. Not a very practical one for the movies though, as I couldn't lean my head back proparly because my hat would only fall in my face and the waist belt was so tight sitting down that I had to lie horizontally in order to breath, haha!
My mum actually took these photos with her cell phone since the batteries on my camera decided to die on me. Amazing quality for a phone I must add!
Cropped leather jacket, BikBok. Peach coloured t-shirt, Acne. High-waisted skirt, Gina Tricot. Brown braided leather belt, vintage. Patterned half-opaque tights. Suede leather ankle boots, second hand. Bowler hat, Carlings. Watch pendant/necklace, bought at Portobello Market in London. Knitted scarf, BikBok. Quilted chain strap bag, Chanel, vintage.

Sometimes the thought of my bank account's big zero is too depressing. Just look at these boots!

I know almost every Alexander Wang-loving fashion blogger has posted photos of his spring/summer 2010 show, but I have to do it too as I just happen to be one of them. There's nothing not to love about this collection. The mix of fabrics, the shoes and bags, the models, the tailoring and cuts, the details and choice of colour, not to mention the hair - the long, messy side braids we'll all be saving for until the summer season arrives. This collection all comes down to one word - perfection.
This is probably why Natasha Poly (right) is one of my favourite models. She's absolutely gorgeous!

I've been craving these biker boots for a long time and I can only hope they're still in stock when I get my pay check this month. I'm in desperate need of a new pair of boots as we're entering the new season and there's no doubt that these will be perfect.

Delicate silk blouses tucked in high-waisted wool-fronted trousers tied up at the waist, matched with oversized cashmere coats and suede lace-up ankle boots, created looks of the true Parisian woman whose fashion awareness and distinctive style is pure perfection. Later in the show, the black velvet, white muslin and nude chiffon dresses only claryfied it even more - the Chloé romance is back.

This month's investment will most definitely be a pair of leather or suede lace-up ankle boots. Although I'm absolutely deeply and dangerously in love with these Chloé boots, I'm forced to look for something in a lower price range. Hopefully I'll find the perfect pair when I'm going shopping in London at the end of the month.

I can already feel the difference between September and October just by stepping outside my door. The rain is pouring down, the wind is frigid and I've had pneumonia for two weeks. Great! Still, this doesn't mean I can't spoil myself with a little window shopping in the mean while. Actually, I believe this autumn/winter season will be rather nice. I don't mind the bad weather so much when I get to wear great clothing during the day and snuggle up in my sofa with my blog and a cup of coffee at night. Although I've already bought these killer boots, which will be worn out this season, I'm in desperate need of a cool, stylish AND warm coat for the cold days ahead, and I think the oversized double buttoned tweed jacket from BikBok fulfills my wishes. While keeping the sequin and leather items in my new season wardrobe and adding some shoulder details, tweed and over-the-knee boots, I'm ready for fall.

Hi everyone!
You've probably been wondering what happened to my other blog.
Well, to keep it short, Blogger.com suddenly shut it down without giving me any warning or any opportunity to warn you readers in advance. While logging on as usual to make a new post, I got the message that the blog had been closed, but that it would be re-opened in a few days. I've sent e-mails and requests to Blogger, but I haven't received any form of answer or explanation to why it's still closed. It's been devastating knowing that two years of blogging went to waste like that, especially when I love it so much and I wasn't able to do anything about it.
I've missed blogging on a daily basis and I've missed you readers! I hope you like my new blog and that you will continue to follow me. Without you this blog is nothing.
xxx Bettina
